Minutes of the July 10, 2002 Special Meeting of the Four Creeks U.A.C.
The meeting began at 7:00 p.m. In attendance were Denise Lockner-Jones, Cynthia Green, Oscar Bandelin, Marshall Brenden, Dave Dahlin, Rod McFarland, David Rockabrand, Tom Tregoning and Tami Harris. David Irons was also present, as were members of the public. Gwendolyn High arrived after the meeting had begun.
Public Report: In absence of Gwendolyn High, Joe Korbecki gave a quick synopsis of the research that he had been doing with regards to the possible widening of 156th Ave SE. He was not able to get affirmative answers from King County. The idea has been on the books, but nothing immediately is happening with it. Joe and other members of the public feel that they would be better served with a different solution for an expansion route - Cedar Mt Bridge for example, Maple Valley to I90. Gwendolyn arrived and discussed concurrency and how it is affecting the area. Red - no more can be added. Our area went from Green to Red between June of last year and April of this year. David Irons reported the concurrency maps currently have been created using old data. New data should be available Dec 2002. Oscar Bandelin drafted a letter to Linda Dougherty regarding 156th Ave SE. Public and Council comments were heard. Letter was revised and printed.
The meeting adjourned 9:00 p.m.
